What's happening in the Media Center?

Black Eyed Susan Award

  • Students read books selected by Maryland teachers and Media Specialists to be among the best literature for children. Through a vote, students help to choose the Black Eyed Susan winner for the year. 
  • Students in grades Pre-k to 2nd will vote on the BES picture books.
  • Students who have read the grade 3-5 graphic novel nominees and/or the grade 3-5 novels will also vote in these categories.
